Greening Moreland Forum: 25 February

Transition Coburg has signed up to the Greening Moreland Forum on Saturday, 25 February, 2012, 10am-1pm. It’s being held at Coburg Town Hall. Please read the outline of the event below, and if you can make it, please save the date! This is a perfect opportunity to meet up with the other wonderful projects already under way in Moreland.

Moreland is lucky to have broad range of residents and community groups actively working to make our neighbourhood more sustainable and a better place to live. In fact, there’s so much going on sometimes it’s hard to keep up and make sure we’re working effectively together. Greening Moreland hopes to change that.

Zero Carbon Moreland presents a free event for Moreland residents, community groups and organisations interested in sustainability, the environment and living well. We invite you to come together, tell us what you’re working on, explore what else is happening locally, discuss what we still need to do and how we can do it together.

You will also get an opportunity to calculate your carbon footprint, test ride electric bikes, and get sustainability advice from the Moreland Energy Foundation team. Then wind down with a free BBQ lunch!

When: Saturday, 25 February, 10am – 1pm (followed by free BBQ)

Where: Coburg Town Hall

Cost: Free!
